Suggest Treatment For Rash And Pain On The Abdomen

I HAVE HAD AN ABDOMINAL RASH FOR APPROXIMATELY 8 DAYS THAT IS GETTING LARGER. IT IS SOMEWHAT TENDER TO THE TOUCH . AT DIFFERENT TIMES DURING THIS PERIOD, I HAVE EXPERIENCED: FEVER OF 102, DIGESTIVE CRAMPS, PAIN BEHIND EYEBALLS WHEN LOOKING PERIPHERALLY, AND SOME OTHER SYMPTOMS.THE RASH IS MORE PROMINENT (REDDER) AROUND THE CIRCUMFERENCE THAN IN THE MIDDLE.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

According to your description the circular rash is probably caused by a fungal infection or dermatophytosis. You can send me a photo of it in order that I can give you a better opinion. The abdominal cramps don't seem much related to it but can be due to a parasitic or bacterial infection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
