Suggest Treatment For Raised Bump Near Ankle

Last sunday I noticed a raised bump on my right leg, between the bottom of my calf and ankle. I have no swelling anywhere else, just the bump. NO redness, just slight discomfort, it feels tight in the morning but once I get going, it eases. I ve been taking ibuprofen and the tightness goes away. I went to urgent care yesterday because one of my co workers said that it could possibly be a blood clot, and with that seriousness, I figured i d go check it out. The dr touched around my leg and said that it was not a blood clot, but in order to completely rule that out, I would need to get a scan. She indicated that it was a lipoma cyst. My question is, can this diagnosis be trusted? Or should I go to the ER??

The diagnosis of lipoma cyst seems to be Okay. Definitely, for final confirmed diagnosis you need a scan.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
