Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns.
I would like to know if the child is very quite at home also or only at school?
If he is quite only at the school he may require some social skill training. I would suggest role play for the child where he is allowed to practice how he would mix with other children or answer in a certain situation and allow him to practice appropriate response.
It will be useful to reward whatever efforts he makes to mingle and reply.
I hope I helped you.
Thank you
