Suggest Treatment For Pulmonary Hypertension
My nephew was born premature in Oct. he is still in Hospital .e has had heart surgery. has a trach and been been on a vent. Now they told his parents he probably not make it because he has pulmonary hypertension and they won t be able to cure it .would you know if a second option would help or is there a facility that cares for this condition? The family doesn t have insurance.

Infants who fail to respond to medical management, as evidenced by failure to sustain improvement in oxygenation with good hemodynamic function, may require treatment with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)(22).
INHALED NITRIC OXIDE mediates vasodilation by stimulating soluble guanylate cyclase in vascular smooth muscle cells.
Sildenafil has been tried and found to be effective to some extent in pulmonary hypertention.
