Suggest Treatment For Psoriasis

I fell on knee that had a patch of psoriasis. 5 months ago. Broke thru skin with hole in center leaking pus. Does not hurt. Dr. put me on antibiotics. No help. Clean with peroxide. Not sure if I should cover which keeps it wet or leave open to dry. Will it heal eventually?

it is an autoimune disorder. generally steroid is used. can use pregmatar since tar preparation is recomanded.
