Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Vomiting And Loose Watery Stools In An Infant

My 5 month baby is passing loose watery stool 5 to 6 times a day from past 12days. Today he vomited thrice and passed 4 times watery stools. Consulted doctor. He prescribed Gnorm powder, asirzin syrup and rax oral rehydration salt powder. This has been continued from last 12days.now vomit also included. What should I do to stop his vomit and watery stool. I m breast feeding and giving rice cereal as food.he lost 250grams weight in 7days.

This is an alarming sign of dehydration and is highly recommended to take your child directly to pediatric emergency ward in a hospital. Don't go to the doctor who prescribed all that. Its high time for intravenous medications and fluids to the baby. Baby is seriously ill and illness so long may lead to life threatening complications.

Leave all medications and obligations you have at home. Go strainght to the emergency Room.
