Hello,

Irregular menstruation must be treated with appropriate medicines advised by a gynecologist. I can understand your concern regarding the medicines. But it’s always better to talk to your doctor about the current treatment options if you are willing to change as the doctor is well aware of your medical history and current health. Apart from this you can start doing regular exercise and meditation which will lower your anxiety as well as bring your body back into rhythm. Regular exercise is of lot of help when it comes to hormonal issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
