Suggest Treatment For Progesterone Deficiency
I m 42 and 8 months. My period was three months late so I went to a doctor and did a blood test it showed a deficiency in progesterone. So my doctor said this is probably the beginning of the peri menopause phase. I was shocked because I m only 42 and all the women in my family have had menopause in their 50s. He gave me Promulut Nor for 10 days. Does that mean I will get back to normal? I read that this medicine is for those who wish to delay their periods! So how come he gave it to me if I want to get my period? Will I have regular periods after this medicine? At 42 am I not too young for this?

Many women go through menopause in their 40s so if that is happening then it is not that unusual.
The medication you were given will stop a period if you are bleeding but we also use it to restart periods. Usually when you take this for 10 days then when you stop you have a withdrawal bleed. This sometimes restarts the normal cycles. Sometimes we even give the Promulut Nor for 10 days in each of three months to reset your periods.
