Suggest Treatment For Profuse Sweating In A Diabetic Patient
My boyfriend is diabetic and has been since he was 11 and he is now 26. Depending on the night he will sweat perfusly and it will have a sickning sweet smell to it. I know it has to do with how high or low his blood sugar is but i was wonder how to prevent the chances of it happening every night. Is there something he could eat or does he need to take more insulin?
Best method is to check his pre dinner blood glucose values and adjust the night dose insulin based on Predinner values + Dinner he is gonna have. Also you can check him 3am blood sugars just to make sure he is not going into a mild hypoglycemia in the middle of the night.. I am sure he will do fine.. Dr.Riyaz Sheriff
