Suggest Treatment For Pressure In Chest And Belching In An Obese Person
I have Gerd, am over weight and have been on an acid reducer for several months. I am a 46 year old female. I have had mild chest pressure that seems to move from center chest to right for approximately 4 days and is not relieved by belching. I am also experiencing random chills (with not fever) that last a few minutes. Trying to decide if this is something that can wait for a doctors visit in a few days or merits an ER visit. Any feedback would be helpful.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are suffering from pressure in chest and belching in an obese person. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like indigestion , food intolerance , angina or acid reflux . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist to rule out more serious condition . Doctor may order ECG ,TMT along with complete blood profile and troponin t test . Doctor may prescribe isosorbide nitrate along with betablockers , diuretics and aspirin . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist for gastric problem . For now eat light and non spicy and do light walking after eating . Also avoid dairy products .
