Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type you I am a 45 year old male, married and I am constantly ejaculating within 5 seconds of penetration, sometimes just prior to penetration. Are there any devices for my penis or scrotum that can make me last longer?
My advice: the antidepressant Sertraline has as a side-effect a prolongation of the time until ejaculation. In many men the effect is so strong that the company that invented Sertraline discussed the idea back then to market it as a medication against premature ejaculation. However, they took another path and now it’s there as a side effect. Not in all men, but in many. It would be an off-label use in your case, therefore you should discuss this in-depth with your family doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Alexander Davis, General & Family Physician
