A 24 yr. old family member is going through a possible postpartum psychosis. She has been admitted to a hospital. She has been there for 2wks. They are experimenting with anti-psychotics, mood-stabilizers and tranguilizers. What do you think about the older anti-psychotic Nosinan.? What do you think about Isolation rooms,locked wards, and no privileges and no family contact. She says she is not suicidal or homicidal, and just wants to go home. She realizes she is sick,but has not had any fresh air for 2wks. She does have a 4yr. Old daughter that she misses terribly. We want to trust her Drs. And they believe they can help her but we are not so sure about leaving her there. Could we care for her at home. She is still delusional at times . What do you think?
