Suggest Treatment For Popped Up Knees

Yesterday, I was in a squat looking through a cupboard. When I got up, I felt as if my knee came out of place. (This has happened to me in the past, less often then often). Now, I can usually kick my leg out & it will snap back. This time I couldn t. Almost as if it was too far apart. I had someone pull it back in place. Now my leg is sore for 24 hrs. Prior times, it would go away quickly.

Dear patient
You jave got injury to knee ligaments with instability. Since its for long time you have been adjusted to it. But if kept for long time it will lead to knee arthritis. Human knee is stabilised by set of two ligaments, two cruciate and two collateral . If all are function well your knee is fully stable. So you knee to do MRI of the involved knee to confirm diagnosis. Take visit to expert sport medicine specialist with report and get yourself examined. All the best.
