Suggest Treatment For Poor Memory And Trembling In Hands

I am 44 years old, and have spent my entire life as a bicycle stunt rider. I am sure that I have had 50 or more concussions in my life. I am experiencing a lot of memory difficulty, and in recent months, I have also developed a small, but continuous amount of trembling in my hands. I openly admit that many of my head injuries went untreated.

Hello,

You have a history of several concussions. To avoid trembling of the hands cut on addictions if any. Maintain healthy BMI, stay active. Take healthy home made nutritious food rich in vitamin B6, B12, folic acid, etc. You can take vitamin E rich food or supplements like Neurobion Forte.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a Neurologist. Get neurological examination (NCV tests, nerve biopsy), lab tests, performance tests and imaging tests done. You will be treated with medicines, physical therapy, counselling or recommended surgery according to the reports obtained.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
