Suggest Treatment For Poor Appetite And Vomiting Sensation

My 91 year old dad sleeps all day and is awake most nights. He stopped eating solid food two months ago. He drinks about 20+ ounces a day. Mostly water, pomegranate juice and milk. His legs are itching and hurting all the time. He uses an urine catheter and does not get out of bed. We struggle to make him take his medication. He says he feels like vomiting whenever we ask him to drink. All of us feel he could walk and get out of bed if only he drank some more and started eating solid food. What can we do. We are taking care of him at home.

Noted your history about your Father who sleeps all the day and is awake all the night, on liquids, bot moving out of bed, using catheter for urination, stopped taking solid foods and has less intake of only 20 ounces of liquids.
He feels like vomiting whenever you ask him to drink.
This indicates that the age is taking its toll on him as he is 91 and old-age care needs a proper guidance.
Take the assistance of a Nurse of such a institute who will teach you to take care as er the clinical evaluation.
Sometimes, intravenous fluids and electrolytes help for a dramatic recovery as the sodium and potassium lower levels makes incapacitating.
To find and treat the cause of nausea and vomiting - give symptomatic treatment.
One visit will help in taking his care.
