Suggest Treatment For Pimple On Upper Lip Along With Dry Lips
I have been experiencing very try lips. I had a pimple on my upper lip that I bursted and shortly afterwards noticed that both top and bottom lips are very dry. My bottom lip loss some pink color and it looks like a rash. Is there any over-the-counter meds I can take to clear this up? What do you suggest?
I can understand your concern for treatment of pimple on upper lip along with dry lips.
As I can get from your query that this is present just recently, so it is better to use a topical antibiotic cream such as mupirocin or gentamycin over the affected area.
A simple plane petrolatum gelly can be used repeatedly for multiple times a day to reduce the chapping of the lips.
Do not expose yourself to direct sunlight and direct cold air as these can aggravate the condition.
Do not try to scratch or repeatedly touch the area. I suggest you to meet a dermatologist to take further guidance.
All the best.
