Suggest Treatment For Persistently Recurrent Cough

I have had a cough for the past month and a half. I have been on Augmentin as well as a Zpak and Mucinex and Delsym. Now I am taking tessalon perles. It seems to come and go - usually worse in the evenings. I have not had a chest x-ray - but there is nothing being coughed up and I have been told m;y lungs were clear. What can be causing the coughing?

for persistent cough repeated sputum examination is required. if all are negative then blood test can be advised and physician can auscultate the lung field and note the finding.it can be just allergy. so if you can know allergen then keep distance from them. can take tab levocetrizine 5mg daily. have allergy test.
