Suggest Treatment For Persistent Vomiting In A Child

Hello! My son is almost two years old. Starting n Wednesday, October 7th, he started not feeling well. He was fine all day until he threw up while eating at lunch. All day afterwards he was happy, playful, and his usual self, other than having little urine output, gagging at dinner, and refusing to eat much. The following morning he woke up and was very very clingy. Way more clingy than normal. He threw up around the same time that day. I took him into the doctorand they said it was a virus and there was nothing they could do due to him beingso young. Today he has started having explosive diharrea. He s had it three times today, but no vomiting. His poo has been a very light tan color the past few days. Do I need t bring him back in??

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, diarrhea and vomiting is very common complaint among the children and most of the time does not need any specific treatment but it could be self limiting condition but care need to be taken for hydration and for vomiting "Domperidone" can be given (Only it is severe and causes dehydration ) hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
