Suggest Treatment For Persistent Redness And Swelling Below The Knee

below knees - redness, hot, swelling, also with very dry skin. over time I have had doctor that checks for circulation in legs and feet. recently had pneumonia and had two rounds of steroids and antibiotics. gained about 10 lbs and now have additional redness and heat with extra pain in legs just below the knees. take feurosomide for swelling as well. What kind of doctor should I visit at this point.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, single joint arthritis could be the reason for this, if you have done the x-ray of joint or did the MRI then better to get it done and you can see the orthopedic surgeon for this, but may be in need of physician too to rule out some associated systemic disease, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
