Suggest Treatment For Persistent Oral Thrush

I m worried my embryo may not have stuck! I am day 6 post 2 embryo transfers. I have thrush and this usually only happens (if it does) just prior to menstruating. This morning after putting in my progesterone applicator i noticed a brown discharge after wiping. Is this normal? Or am I about to get my period? I m so worried

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Bleeding after day 6 of potential conception may be due to implantation bleeding. This is bleeding caused by the embryo being implanted in the womb. So, you just need to continue the treatments that the doctor has recommended you and wait.

If you are just spotting this does not mean you are having your period. If you get bleeding that is similar to the periods then very likely you are getting your period.

I hope I have answered your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
