Suggest Treatment For Persistent Neck Pain

Hi, can I answer your health question? Please type your question here... I have been having neck pain for the last 2-3 years, it seems to be getting worse over time. I have tried physical therapy, been prescribed Mobic previously. My doctor has never ordered xrays and had just assumed it was a muscle injury. I figured a muscle injury would heal over time. What should I do?

Hello,

You're right, in your case, imaging of your neck is necessary. Not only X-rays but an MRI of your cervical spine is necessary for a correct diagnosis (spondylitis, herniated disc disease, etc). Discuss with a spine Specialist for these issues.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
