General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern.

Vomiting and loose motions in a 3 1/2 old kid is referring acute gastroenteritis. Virus is the most common cause.

If it was controlled and then started again, then, further diagnostic tests recommended to determine the right diagnosis:
- stool examination
- stool culture
- abdominal ultrasound
- complete blood count
- urine analysis

For the moment, I advise to:
- keep her well hydrated
- if still vomiting, should send to ER as iv fluid replacement treatment should be carried out
- give probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora
- tasectan or pepto bismol can help with loose stool

Wish fast recovery.
