Suggest Treatment For Persistent Itching In The Buttocks

i have been suffering for a few years! from itching, and at times, quite severe. It is my taint and lower butt crack next to my taint. It also occurs, but may not be related, at the top of my crack, but more outer part on each side. I have felt that this upper itch may be hemorrhoid related - internal So, these could be two separate situations - or not. I have used Nystatin for a length of time and from time to time Hydrocordisone cream. Also, I was just reading online to try to wash/dry and use Neosporin. I just applied it and am hoping for good results. Also, I had a yeast problem earlier this year and perhaps it is related.???

Persistent itching in buttocks is due to improper cleanliness of area, due to hair follicle infection by bacteria, clogging of skin pores and due to fungal infection.

I would suggest you to

- Avoid sharing your clothes with anyone else.
- Maintain cleanliness of area and keep it dry.
- Apply topical antibacterial ointment mupirocin on it.
- Avoid touching or pricking it.
- Wear loose clothes.
- Take oral antibiotic course.

Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You should take complete antibiotic course.
