Suggest Treatment For Persistent Headaches

I have taken Watson brand nortiptyline for many years after Pamelor ,the name brand, became too expensive. All other forms and brands of nortriiptyline besides Watson gave me horrible headaches and made my face burn. Watson has stopped making nortriptyline and I have tried something else which after a couple of days does not work I m guessing because of the residual effects of Watson. It s a tricyclic antidepressant which really affects your head in profound ways.I m out of ideas. Do you have any suggestions.

Hi,

A headache may not be related to Nortriptyline.

If symptoms are severe, better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated,

You have to get an MRI scan for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
