Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough

hello
I have had chronic cough for a month and I feel mucus in my throat which makes me want to cough more.
Also, my shoulder blades hurt, they stick out more than usual and they hurt at the slightest touch. The pain moves up until my neck and all my collarbone as well. It is specially bad at nigh.
is it related? or are they two separate conditions?

Hi thanks for asking question.
Along with cough you have pain at shoulder which mostly seems to be musculoskeletal pain.
For cough expectoration you can take ambroxol containing syrup that is mucolytic drug.(combination of ambroxol + levosalbutamol even more helpful)
Take green tea and hot water which will help in cough relief.
If fever is present along with cough then we have to start antibiotic.
For shoulder pain relief you can take simple analgesic and your bed posture should be proper.
Even with these measures no relief then further work up is to be done.
I hope you will understand my concern.Dont worry.
thanks
