Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cold, Cough And Sneezing

Hello Doctor, I have regular cold , sneezing and cough probelm. it has been since my childhood as i had TB at the age 3. Apart from regular cold and headache , i have constant and continous white phelgm/sputum and when i intake cold stuff , such as hard drink with chilled soda or beer , i feel shortness of breadth in night time and therefore i budetrol rotocap and Zyrcold for cold but nothing is working and it is affecting my 10 yrs old son , even he has suffering from cold and nose blockage. Please suggest.

Hi,

1. Your condition is more likely of the common flu.
2. For cough, you can take cefixime.
3. For cold and sneezing take phenylephrine, paracetamol and cetirizine combination.
4. Do steam inhalation.
5. Review after 5 days.
