Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you persistent acne and dark spots on face, Well there can be many reasons for pimples like stress , hormonal changes and excessive sun exposure . Excessive oil production and clogging of sebaceous gland duct are also one of the reasons . Sometimes creams prescribed for pimples contain steroids which should not be use for long time so consult dermatologist before using any cream . I would suggest you to wash your face with face wash containing benzoyl peroxide and then apply cream containing azelaic acid which is good for pimples as well as for hyperpigmentation . Also apply vitamin E oil at night . If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocyclin .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
