Suggest Treatment For Persistent Acid Reflux While On Neksium

Hii...I am suffering from acid reflux from last 2months.i never had acidity before.Right now i am taking Neksium tabs.To some extent it has reduced.But sometimes get acid reflux after having food.I feel like something is stuck after eating.Some times i feel pain in right abdomen but that does not stay for long time.Please give me some advice or any home remedies to get rid of acid reflux.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may want to consider testing for h pylori. This is a bacteria, that if present, can worsen reflux or ulcers.

A blood test can determine if it is present. If H pylori is identified then you would require a 10 day to 14 day course of 2 antibiotics along with the acid medication (eg nexium)

If it is appropriately treated, it would significantly reduce your symptoms.
