I can understand your concern for patches of hair loss on scalp.
In my view it appears to be related to Alopecia areata. It is a temporary autoimmune condition and in this condition there are coin shaped patches are formed due to formation of antibodies to the hair roots. Therefore it causes temporary damage to the hair roots. You have been provided a good treatment and can follow the same for good improvement.
To improve the hair growth in my patients I prefer to use Desonide lotion. I also use minoxidil 2% lotion for fast growth. You can meet a dermatologist for best guidance.
Take care.
