Suggest Treatment For Painful Node On The Head

I have a precancerous node on top of my head that hurts to the touch. Dr prescribed Podofilox topical but I see that is mainly for genital warts. I m with the VA and concerned about this node. Occasionally it gets knocked off when I bump my head or other ways. Any suggestions to remedy?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic

Precancerous skin lesions can be treated with topical 5 flurouracil.
If topical treatment is not working, then cryothetapy, electro cautery or surgical excision can be tried.

Hope this answers your question
