Suggest Treatment For Painful Dent On The Scapula

My 15 year old has a dent under her scapula after being treated for the last three months for snapping scapula syndrome. The snapping scapula is way better but now the dent has showed up and is causing a lot of pain. Any ideas what it could be from? Her orthopedic doctors is intrigued but has no answers. She would like to start basketball but they said no till they can figure it out

Where is the exact position of dent? Dent may be caused by excessive use may be due to tendinitis of particular muscle may gone atrophy or small bony chip fracture in vigerous activity muscle atrophy give indentation on it. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
