Suggest Treatment For Painful And Swollen Calf With A History Of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma
my husband has a Hx of non-hodgkins lymphoma, in remission, about 5 days ago felt a pop behind knee and then pain. yesterday noticeable swelling in calf ( had Doppler and showed no DVT) given pain meds and still quite swollen and cant touch it or walk on it due to severe pain. Not going to see him again for almost 4 weeks. When should I get concerned?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, it could be local swelling of muscle and it can be minimize by keeping the leg in elevated position some time it can be given anti-inflammatory drug but better to wait for some time it will be fine on its own, for the pain less potent pain medicine can be tried, hope this information helps.
