Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.
As per your complain pain under the jaw can be due to probably due to 2 main conditions as there are 2 major structures present in that area that is submandibular
salivary gland and submandibular group of
lymph nodes..
Pain can occur either due to infection in the salivary gland leading to pain and discomfort while can also be due to inflamed lymph nodes..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Surgeon or an ENT expert and get evaluated and he can do a clinical evaluation and also advise you investigations like
x ray, MRI scan etc to confirm the diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now you can do cool compresses under the jaw..
Take ant-inflammatory painkiller like
Ibuprofen..
Massage the area gently with finger [Avoid if pain increases]..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
