General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

So any fistulous track can develop infection but nobody can tell at what time it will develop infection. Better to get it operated as soon as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Loveleen Sharma, General & Family Physician
