Suggest Treatment For Pain On Upper Abdominal Area

My father has been experiencing a dull pain in his upper abdomen, he says if he takes a deep breath it becomes more intense. When it first began he was also vomiting, which has stopped now. He has been to the ER and they said he just has a stomach bug. Now after about a week and a half he is having shortness of breath. What s wrong with him?

Hi

In such case we would like to ask is he having any features of angina? Does the site of lower ribs pain on pressure? Can you see some redness?

Also it will require an examination of his RS.

In our OPD setups, we would first go ahead with Tab Pantoprazole 40mg+domperidone SR BD before meals x 3 days, Tab Diclofenac 50mg+ serratiopeptidase BD x 3 days, and wait for results for his CBC work up, X ray and ECG

Hope to have informed you sufficiently
