Suggest Treatment For Pain In Wrists

My husband is currently suffering from gout attack on his left wrist, which is something new3 since his attacks are usually focused on his ankles. He s taking Colcrys/Colchicine, Allupurinol and Indomethacin, which do not really work. Are there other medications for gout?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

He may want to consider using a stronger pain medication since the indometacin is not working for him.

The other medications are gout specific medications but the pain medication can be altered to a stronger one that may be more effective for him.

He should consider asking his doctor about this option

I hope this helps
