Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Metacarpal Base

I have neglected my hand injury. A week back I had swelling and pain in the little finger metacarpal base. There was conflicting reports between my doctor and the radiologist about a possible fracture. A third opinion suggested that I tie a crepe bandage which I have started now. The swelling is minimal and so is the pain normally, but when i start to pick or use the hand the movement causes pain and discomfort. I have to discintinue. I had to do this because I have to drive my motorcycle and witha plaster that becomes impossible. What should I do.
