Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Left Thigh And Pelvic Area

I had a bladder tumor removed 12-11-15 and have since had a lump on my right side of pelvic area. I am also having aching pain on my left thigh and down my leg. I was told it was possibly a hernia and nothing else. I have been using muscle rugs soaking, pain pills and nothing seems to take away the pain. It hurts more at night. What should I do next?
