Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Hips

I am 66 pretty healthy. Have had both knees replaced 6 yrs ago but they are perfect. Twice today my leg has given out on me. I almost fell but grabbed onto something to prevent it. I have pain in my hip area and can not put weight on it. What do you think my problem is? Thank you for your help I just noticed I may need to pay for this. I hope not.

it can be due to osteoarthritis .. its a type of arthritis which involves hip and knee joint ... bone becomes weak .. get an xray done.. and get your vitamin D and calcium levels checked .. if low then start on these supplements . also do weight bearing exercises as it will lessen the bone destruction.. smoking ,alcohol consumption, obesity all are the risk factors for it so try to avoid them . hopefuly u l get results soon
