Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Hips After Exercising

Sudden pain in my lateral hip while running on a treadmill with 10% grade. This is my normal workout. Felt a pop several minutes after the pain started. No pain in hip flexor or hamstring/ buttocks or thigh. Hurts when first bearing weight when walking. No bruise noted

Hi you have pain in your lateral side of hip with snapping sound suddenly , while exercising with 10 gradient. In my opinion this is trochanteric bursitis pain . I suggest pain killers , hot fomentation , local application of analgesic gel for 10 days and no running for 3 weeks. If pain persists then go for a x ray / MRI of affected hip.
