General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

There can be strong possibility of calcaneal spur, which presents in very similar fashion of symptoms as described above.

Primary relief with:
- Immersing leg in lukewarm water added epsom salt 5 minutes each 3 times a day
- Wear soft slippers with pad support which provide accupuncture therapy
- Avoid prolong standing, tight shoes, walking bare foot
- Analgesic medications as ibuprofen or diclofenac
- Control of body weight, blood sugar

Consult your primary care for need of an X-ray of the ankle joint with foot for final diagnosis and cure accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
