Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Foot Due To An Injury

I got my foot stepped on by a heifer a week ago. Went to er but x-ray found no broken bones. Been on crutches for a week but still have pain and it feels like someone is sticking pins in my foot. It is my right foot and i have pain on the initial injury area and then up my ankle on the right side. I feel that I should be walking on it by now but i have a fair amount of pain. Have been placing heat and then icing it. Is the correct treatment and should i starting pushing the issue by walking on it even with the discomfort.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are having soft tissue injury my foot as x-ray found no fractures.You can take analgesic such as diclofenac for pain relief. If pain is more pain on walking then you can be put on plaster for two weeks for healing of soft tissue injury. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
