Suggest Treatment For Pain In Shin Caused By Trauma

If you got kicked in the shin, and after 3 weeks you did jogging and there is a bit of pain in that area while jogging but not the other leg, and pressing the area hurts a bit, what does this mean? Is this bad, what needs to be done, if not treated if it needs to be, will it be dangerous?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query I think your You are suffering miner/stress fracture of tibia because you have pain during jogging. Treatment of it is rest and analgesics (diclofenac SR). Stop jogging till this heal. It takes 2-3 weeks to heal it. It is not dangerous but if you continue jogging it will not heal and keep on paining.Hope your query answered. If you have any further questions we will be happy to help.
