Suggest Treatment For Pain In Right Ring Finger Joint

Hello, I m having pain on my right ring finger knuckle. I stopped putting my ring because it got swollen at the knuckle area and blistered appeared. Blister is gone, however, the pain on my knuckle is still there. I can function my hand 100% but I m curious about the pain when I pressed or exercise this finger. Please advise. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Common causes of finger joint pain include sprain or strain of the finger.
Finger sprains or strains are common.
I uggestr using anti inflamamtory medication such as Tylenol for the pain.
I also suggest using cold compresses for local application and maintain a splint to prevent further damage.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
