Suggest Treatment For Pain In My Inner Hip Area

I have pain in my inner hip area. this usually occurs after an exercise or after sitting with my leg flared outward.

shortly after the pain starts, I will feel and hear a snap and the pain gradually goes away (with each "snap")

I don't want surgery....please don't recommend that. but, is there a way to manipulate my leg/hip so that the ligament is put back into position?

I believe the problem is with the iliofemoral ligament - maybe the pubofemoral.

thanks
