Suggest Treatment For Pain Due To Shin Injury

I play Rugby and after a game I got kicked in my shin. There is a bump on my shin bone inside my leg along with a bruise on the outside. The injury happened over a month. The bump has not gotten bigger since. It s not too painful where I need pain relief but I am just worried, what should I do? Do you have any ideas of what it is?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to haematoma formation on the area you got injury. But other problems like fracture should be ruled out by an examination with an orthopedician and X ray. If that is clear then ice pack application, NSAIDs like nimusulide and local anti inflammatory gels will be helpful.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
