Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In Knees And Ankles

hi, i have swelling and pain in my knee and ankle, my age is 29, male, i visited a doctor, he asked me to do some blood test, uric acide level - 6.30, R A factor - 6.20, CRP- 3.40, i used to take protein suppliment before this porblem, Please advise....

Hello,

The uric acid level is a little higher than normal range. The other examinations are under normal range. I recommend to avoid protein diet for a while. I recommend to take Allopurinol 100 mg to lower the uric acid level. I also suggest to using an anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to lower the inflammation and the swelling. Cold compresses can also be helpful.
