Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In Ankles After A Hip Replacement

I have pain and swelling in both ankles much worse at night, What type of Doctor is the best to see for this , this has been going on for about a year now have had many test and X-rays , my lower legs ache all the time and at times will just give out on me, I had a hip replacement in March and epidural steroid injections last month but the pain in my lower legs and ankles does not go away??

Yes swelling in both ankle or in one ankle after long injury is related because of strain in old injured ligament or not healed completely .you should go for orthopaedic doctor for further evaluation till that you keep the legs in elevated position while sleeping and can apply any anti inflatory gel like diclofenac
