Suggest Treatment For Pain And Redness Around The Scar Post Mole Removal

I ve had a mole removed over 12 weeks ago. Had 2 staph infections since and was told last wednesday by the specialist dermatologist I can go back training. Banged the scar and now its red and really tender, does this mean it s infected again or is it just tender because it s not as strong as normal.

Redness and tenderness as you told is sing of inflammation. This may be due to post procedure or after secondary infection. Maintain strict antiseptic with the use of mupirocin oint and oral antibiotic. Above all your treating consultant can advice you better.
