the sections reveal a tissue composed of fibrocollagenous and fibrofatty tissue lined, by synovial cells. the underlying tissue revel dense mixed inflammatory infiltrate composed o neutrophils, lymphocytes and histiocytes alongwith fibrosis and myxoid degeneration. a fragment of necrotic bone is also seen embedded in granulation tissue. there is no evidence of malignancy in the material examined.
